About Gate Valve

Gate Valves are the most commonly used shut off valves in industrial applications. They are ideal for situations where minimal pressure drop and bi-directional on-off service are required. Gate valves are not recommended for throttling applications, as prolonged use in a partially open position can damage the seating surfaces. They are available with various wedge configurations to suit specific service conditions.
